Freda Burgess and Florence Wilkinson

were made

Honorary Members of the Riseley Women's Institute

in recognition of their many years of membership and dedication

to the Federation of Women's Institutes.

Florence was President of the Riseley Institute for many, many years in the 70s and 80s. Freda was President of Knebworth Institute prior to moving to Riseley. Both ladies, now in their 90s, regularly attend the Institute's monthly meetings and enjoy the various outings and other social activities that are organised.

The Riseley W.I. programme is varied, and ladies who are not so mobile are catered for with transport to and from their home.
